  • Itinerary: In winter the Grand Caribe is in Belize on 12-day cruises. Spring cruises are 8 to 12-day trips along the Mississippi, Ohio, Cumberland, Tombigbee, and Tennessee Rivers. From April to October the ship cruises the East Coast from Florida to eastern Canada, then in November and December returns to Florida and the Mississippi River. April to December cruises range from 6 to 15 days.
  • Cabins: 44. Outside and inside cabins, with twin or queen beds and private bath with shower, are air-conditioned. No Triples or quads.



     

  • Dining: Open-seating dining room with one seating. Cuisine includes fresh local food. Bring your own alcoholic drinks. Soft drinks and snacks available 24 hours a day.
  • Dress: Casual day and night, with no jackets or ties necessary.
  • Facilities and Activities: The ship has the Blount bow-landing ramp and retractable pilot house, has a stern swimming platform and carries a glass-bottom boat, kayaks, bikes, and a launch. There are presentations by naturalists, photographers, musicians, historians.
  • Fares:12-day cruise of Belize, the Barrier Reef and Guatemala $3,579 to $4,569; Mississippi River cruise $2,359 to $2.969; 13-day cruise of the Erie Canal to the Saguenay $3,999 to $4,999; 6-day islands of New England cruise $1,699 to $2,129. Port charges extra. Back-to-back cruises 10 percent off.

  • Itinerary: Spring, summer and fall cruises of 8 to 16 days of eastern US and Canada and Great Lakes. Cruises include Jacksonville, Florida to Charleston SC, Chesapeake Bay, Rhode Island to Chicago, Lake Michigan, Ontario and Georgia Bay cruise, New York to Toronto, and a cruise along the Erie Canal and Saguenay River. Some cruises go to Mackinac Island.
  • Cabins:44. Cabins range from 72 to 96 sq. ft., almost all outside, and have twin or queen beds, and private bath with shower.No triples or quads.



  • Dining: The dining room accommodates all passengers in one seating. Alcohol purchased dockside and not offered on the vessel.BYOB
  • Facilities and Activities: The ship has the Blount bow-landing ramp and retractable pilot house, has a stern swimming platform, and carries a glass-bottom boat, kayaks, bikes, and a launch. Entertainment in the lounge includes onboard naturalist, photographers, musicians, historians, and other guest lecturers.
  • Fares: seven night cruises starts at $1900, fifteen night $4999 per person.
